I had the gift of attending a beautiful gathering on the Penobscot River north of Bangor, Maine called Healing Turtle Island. Native teachers and elders shared their knowledge and wisdom and ceremonies and challenged all attendees to integrate these teachings into their lives. When I listened back to this piano improvisation, I immediately was brought back to the long moment where I stood in that sacred river with the water glistening in the sun. I felt deep peace like few times in my life.
