This prayer song was gifted to me while walking along the shore of the Íŋyaŋwakağapi Wakpá (Cannonball River) at Sacred Stone Camp at the amazing gathering of Native peoples and others near the Standing Rock Reservation in 2015 who were there to fight the installation of the Dakota Access oil pipeline though the Missouri River and advocate for Native rights.
